Heiwadai Park, symbolized by its 37 meter high Peace Tower, is located on a hill overlooking Miyazaki City.  Surrounded by natural forest, the park is known as a spot to see cherry blossoms in the springtime and autumn leaves in the fall.
The Haniwa Garden is located within the park, featuring 400 replica Haniwa figurines that were traditionally used to decorate ancient Japanese burial mounds, as well as an athletic plaza featuring playground equipment popular with the children, and an artificial grass ski area. The park’s nature trails are complete with an observation deck, rest area, and benches for your leisurely walks. The park is loved as a place to relax by the locals for its seasonal flowers and rich green forest.
