観音池公園
Kannonike Park

This multipurpose leisure destination is also famous for its cherry blossoms

This vast park occupies a total area of roughly 63 hectares, and features the only Ferris wheel in Miyazaki. It is also one of the top places to see cherry blossoms in Miyazaki, with roughly 5,000 of the trees blooming in the springtime. Among the attractions of this spacious park are boats, go-carts, miniature golf, grass skis, a large integrated playground facility, and plazas both large and small. The 720 meter long slide is particularly popular with the children (but requires a fee and is only open on weekends.)
The flowing water pool, open only in summertime, is also quite popular. Visitors can even stay the night here at the campsite or bungalows. Finally, the Kannon Sakura no Sato hot spring with its 13 different baths, saunas, and a hot spring pool, is also located in the park.
